“This boutique hotel, housed in a historic Georgian townhouse, distinguishes itself with individually decorated rooms, some featuring spa baths and private hot tubs. The central location places it within easy walking distance of Durham Cathedral and Castle. While its unique themes and intimate atmosphere appeal, attention to detail seems inconsistent, potentially affecting the overall experience.”

dusty surfaces bathroom hair
The breakfast was of great quality, I MUST say.
The room I was given was not adequately cleaned. There was hair in the bathroom and dust on many surfaces. This DEFINITELY needs addressing.

amazing service and beautiful room
clean room comfortable bed excellent breakfast
i had the azzurri room, and it was so clean and beautiful. the four-poster bed was a good size and so comfortable!!! the room was also warm and ventilated well. i really appreciated the excellent breakfast, it had plenty of top-ups. there was good access to reasonably priced street parking, opposite the hotel.
i noticed poor lighting internally. there was only one bedside lamp and no light beside the mirror where the hairdryer is.
